FAQ
The following is a compiled list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • What is the purpose of this Alumni?
SMK Sri Permata (formerly known as SMK Seaport) has reached 25 years of existence and the school administration felt that it was time that the school had an alumni to keep in touch with its ex-students and also provide a platform for ex-students to get in touch with each other.

The school administration tapped a group of volunteers who provided time in their busy schedule to formally set up this society for the benefit of its ex-students and would be graduates.

  • What activities does the Alumni have?
The Alumni conducts activities for the benefit of its members in accordance to its constitution. As such, it is free-form and member driven so long as the activity does not contravene the Alumni constitution or the laws of Malaysian.

The size and scope of potential activities depends on the commitment of its core members and the availability of resources.

The basic essential activity that the Alumni must have is its yearly Annual General Meeting (AGM) which also serves as an excellent platform for ex-students to get in touch and for networking.
